Wang Jian, Principal
With over 30 years of experience in the education sector, Shanghai native Wang Jian has served as a public school principal for more than seven years, and has acted as the principal of the American High School (+AP) Program for almost five years. Regarding his international team of teachers and administrators, Principal Wang commented: "We are trying to open students minds by providing them with a global vision. Of course, this requires an international team, which is why we advocate diversity in our hiring practices." 

Professor Cao Yamin, Consultant
Born in Jiangsu in 1943, Cao Yamin is a graduate of Nanjing Normal University’s School of Foreign Language and Culture. He currently holds the post of Executive Vice-Chairman of the Jiangsu Education Society’s Foreign Language Teaching and Research Association. He has long been involved in research in educational science, foreign language teaching and teacher training, with many major publications throughout his career.

Dr. Randy Refsland, Director of Academics
Randy is a Clinton Community School District Superintendent currently on sabbatical. Having worked as a teacher for 18 years, a principal for nine years, and a superintendent for four years, Randy brings a wealth of experience in American education as well as an observant and open mind to his work with Ameson. In April 2012, an exchange program took him to Shijiazhuang, Hebei, where he spent nearly three weeks shadowing a local partner educator, observing the Chinese education system from within. This exchange and his daughter's experiences teaching in Korea inspired him to expand his own horizons by taking his own skills abroad. 

Luo Fei, Vice-Director of Teaching Affairs and Students' Affairs & Activities
Luo Fei has been with Ameson since 1998 and is one of its most senior employees. With substantial experience with the application and visa processes for America and Europe, she now works in teaching and teaching management. As a mother herself, she has a wealth of experience communicating with young people and a deep understanding of student psychology, making Luo Fei one of the organization's most well-loved teachers.

Tommy Zhang, Teaching and Research Section Deputy Director
Tommy joined Ameson in 2008 after completing his MA in International Relations at Nanjing University. He is currently in charge of academic research for Ameson, and his most recent paper has been published in International Relations Review. Tommy values teamwork and cooperation.

Niko Demetriou, Director of Foreign Recruitment
Niko has spent the past four years as the director for Newpoint High School in Tampa, Florida and supervisor of alternative learning communities in Humanities for the state of Ohio, U.S.  Currently a doctoral student at Creighton University studying Educational Leadership, he holds an M.A. in History and Political Science.  Prior to working in administration he taught for ten years in secondary schools and at Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio U.S.

Whitman Wang, Human Resources and Administration
Whitman grew up in rural Shandong, where his industrious character led him to aspire to make his mark on the world. After graduating with a B.A. from Shandong University and an M.A. from Nanjing Normal University, he has brought his pragmatic and sincere approach to life to Ameson’s H.R. Department, where he has helped to bring many foreign experts to China to contribute to the development of Chinese education.
