Ameson's collaboration with Shanghai Datong High School, a prestigious high school in Shanghai Municipality, for the Ameson Chinese Elite Identification Scheme, or ACEIS program, began with a launching ceremony on January 8. Before joining the ACEIS program, Shanghai Datong High School previously worked with the Ameson Foundation by offering courses as a part of the US High School Program.

Twenty Chinese dignitaries travelled to the US for the “Interactive Seminar on High School and University Reform Initiatives in China and the United States,” to be held on February 22 and 23 at the Gutman Conference Center at Harvard University.
The Ameson Foundation organized two college counseling workshops at Changzhou Senior Middle School of Jiangsu Province and Jiangyin Nanjing High School.
November 28, 2009 marks the 80th anniversary of Yixing Middle School of Jiangsu Province. To celebrate of this special occasion, Yixing Middle School held an unveiling ceremony for becoming an ACEIS screening center. The unveiling ceremony of Yixing Middle School's collaboration with Ameson Foundation was also part of the school's 80th anniversary celebration ceremony.
Prof. Sean Zhang, Deputy Chairman of the Ameson Foundation, paid an educational visit to Africa with dignitaries invited by the Education Department of Liaoning Province.
Hangzhou No. 2 High School signed an agreement with Ameson Foundation on October 29 to join ACEIS. Professor David Cardwell from University of Cambridge, Professor Li Rong of the Ameson Foundation, and Mr. Shen Ronghe of Hangzhou No. 2 High School of Zhejiang Province, attended the signing ceremony.
Professor Fernando M. Reimers, the Ford Foundation Professor of International Education and Director of Global Education and of International Education Policy at Harvard University, paid a visit to Hangzhou Normal University on Nov. 3, 2009, with the invitation by the Ameson Foundation and Professor Tong Fuyong, Dean of Teacher Continuing Education College of Hangzhou Normal University.
Co-sponsored by the Ameson Foundation and the Zhejiang Society of Education of the Education Department of Zhejiang Province, the International Forum on Educational Leadership and Equality was held on Nov. 3, 2009, in the SSAW Hotel in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The forum was organized by Education Bureau of Xiacheng District, Hangzhou Municipality.
The Ameson Foundation co-sponsored the International Forum on Educational Leadership and Equality in Jinan Municipality, Shandong Province (also co-sponsored by the Education Department of Shandong Province) on Nov. 1, 2009, at the Shandong Hotel in Jinan.
German psychologist and professor Dr. Julius Kuhl visited Ameson’s Nanjing office on Sept. 25. During his visit, he gave insight to his research to Ameson's staff and teachers and gave a presentation to Ameson students about the cultural differences and how they mold personalities. Deputy Chairman of the Ameson Foundation Sean Zhang was very excited to have Dr. Kuhl visit Ameson. "Having someone so knowledgeable in this field visit Ameson has been a real treat," Mr. Zhang said.
