ovember 28, 2009 marked the 80th anniversary of Yixing Middle School of Jiangsu Province. To celebrate of this special occasion, Yixing Middle School held an unveiling ceremony for joining the Ameson Chinese Elite Identification Scheme, or ACEIS. The unveiling ceremony of Yixing Middle School's collaboration with Ameson Foundation was also part of the school's 80th anniversary celebration ceremony.

The ceremony was held on a new campus of Yixing Middle School of Jiangsu Province, located in Yixing Municipality (a county-level city of Wuxi Municipality, Jiangsu Province). Mr. Jiang Huaqiang, Principal of Yixing Middle School, and Prof. Sean Zhang, Deputy Chairman of the Ameson Foundation, attended the ceremony.

Many governmental officials and Yixing Middle School alumni also attended the ceremony. Ms. Hua Boya, Deputy Mayor of Wuxi Municipality; Mr. Wang Zhongsu, Mayor of Yixing Municipality; Mr. Jiang Hongliang, Secretary of the Yixing Municipal Committee of the CPC; Mr. Li Zhihao, Chairman of People's Political Consultative, Yixing Municipality; Mr. Li Shikai, Inspector of Jiangsu Provincial Education Department; Professor Xia Jinwen, Vice President of Nanjing Normal University and Yixing Middle School alumnus; and Professor Tan Zhemin, professor at Nanjing University and Yixing Middle School alumnus; were among the dignitaries in attendance.

Yixing Middle School has worked with Ameson Foundation for many years with the US High School Program and “2+1” IELTS courses. By joining the ACEIS and becoming an ACEIS screening center, Mr. Jiang Huaqiang commented that Yixing Middle School is looking forward to working further with Ameson in identifying their elite students for the scheme’s leading universities overseas.
