A
meson's collaboration with Shanghai Datong High School, a prestigious high school in Shanghai Municipality, for the Ameson Chinese Elite Identification Scheme, or ACEIS program, began with a launching ceremony on January 8.

Professor Sean Zhang, Deputy Chairman of the Ameson Foundation; Professor Li Rong, senior advisor of the Ameson Foundation; Ms. Sheng Yaping, Principal of Shanghai Datong High School; and Mr. Yang Minghua, Director of the International Education Exchange Center and former Principal of Shanghai Datong High School, were among the distinguished speakers who attended the ceremony.

Founded in 1912, Datong High School is one of the best high schools in Shanghai, which identifies itself as “a pioneer in international exchange” and has established connections with a number of leading high schools worldwide. Before joining the ACEIS program, Shanghai Datong High School previously worked with the Ameson Foundation by offering courses as a part of the US High School Program. By signing the agreement, Shanghai Datong High School becomes a first recruitment base and screening center in Shanghai, and the school will recruit top students of the school for leading universities of the ACEIS scheme.

So far, more than 50 students across China have been admitted by University of Cambridge through the ACEIS program, and dozens of elite high schools have joined the program to become recruitment bases and screening centers.
