edicated to the promotion of Chinese language and culture around the world, the China Zhigong Party and the Ameson Foundation share a common mission. On May 25, Ameson welcomed the arrival of an American Delegation sent by the China Zhigong Party which included 7 nationally recognized folk artists from across China.

The Deputy Director of Ameson’s Washington Office, renowned bilingual author Zhu Xiaodi, accompanied the delegation to America’s top-ranked public high school, the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, where a performance of Chinese traditional folk arts was held for students. The event featured performances of folk songs, paper cutting, clay sculpting, wushu, calligraphy and magic tricks.

The Principal of Thomas Jefferson High School, Mr. Glazer, sincerely thanked the Zhigong Party and the performers on behalf of the school for offering them a window into Chinese culture. After the applause died down, the delegates presented the school with a commemorative gift.

Similarly, in the name of making Chinese language and culture more accessible to Americans, the two organizations have teamed up to donate thousands of books to various American public libraries, including the Los Angeles Public Library in 2009, the Washington, DC Public Library in 2010, and the Flushing Branch of the Queens Public Library in 2012.
