The award recognized their leadership in educating young people in the Asian Pacific American community and improving the community as a whole.

Additionally, ILF announced that its board of directors chose Ms. Soo Kyung Koo as the organization’s new Executive Director and Ms. Evelynn Bui as new Program Director.

At the event, Ms. Chiling Tong gave a speech recognizing the ILF’s community support. Among those mentioned was the Ameson Foundation, a neighbor of the ILF, with the headquarters of both organizations located in the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC. The Ameson Foundation is proud to support the ILF in developing young leaders in the United States and Asia, a mission shared by both organizations.
