Mr. Yang Jike is the former Vice President of the University of Science and Technology of China, the former Vice-Governor of Anhui Province, the ninth Vice President of the China Zhi Gong party and a member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress.

Dr. Alan Bersin is a member of the Board of Overseers for Harvard University, the former Secretary of Education for California and the former Superintendant of San Diego city schools.

Mr. Zhang Minsheng is the Vice President of the Chinese Society of Education and the former deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.

Dr. Deborah J. Stipek is the former Dean (and current Professor) of Stanford University’s School of Education. Before her time at Stanford, she was a Professor at UCLA, where she also served as Director of the Corinne Seeds University Elementary School and the Urban Education Studies Center.

Mr. Zhang Xupei is the President of the Zhejiang Provincial Society of Education and the former Deputy Superintendent of the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Education.


Fernando M. Reimers is the Ford Foundation Professor of International Education and Director of the International Education Policy Program at the Graduate School of Education and an Affiliated Professor at the Law School at Harvard University. He is the founding director of the International Education Policy Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a founding co-chair of the Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative.

Mr. Li Shusen is the former CPC Secretary General of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education.

Dr. Ray Cortines is the former Superintendant of the Los Angeles Unified School District, former Senior Advisor to the U.S. Secreatary of Education, the former Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles and a former School Chancellor of New York City.

Mr. Zhou Jiqiu is the Vice President of Strategic Development of the China Education Association and the former Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Education Department.

Dr. Michael C. Behnke is the former Vice President and Dean of College Enrolment of the University of Chicago, and former Dean of Admissions at MIT.
