rom July 18 to 26 2008, Ameson Foundation hosted “Dialogue with world leading universities” events with Yangtze Evening Post, one of China’s most popular evening newspapers with a daily circulation of 1.5 million. Chancellors, heads of registry and student admission officers from many world’s leading universities participated in the events.

Representatives from leading universities, including Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, Chicago University, MIT, Cornell University, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, University of Warwick, University of Bristol, Durham University, University of British Columbia, University of Auckland and Bocconi University met students and parents in Nanjing. In addition, the events were broadcasted live online for students and parents who couldn't participate the in the program in person. The events aimed to encourage interacttion between the students and the experts.

More than 60 students registered for the event in 2 hours after the announcement of the event online. Most of the attending students were senior 2 and senior 3 students who were interested in talking to recruiting officials from the leading universities. Students from Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Changzhou, Suzhou, Huai'an and Xuzhou registered for the events.

Officials and education experts from the Ameson Foundation also took part and answered questions from the students.
