r. Abdou Diouf, Former president of Senegal, and Secretary General of l'Organization Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), sent a letter to offer support to Professor Sean Zhang, Vice Chairman of the Ameson Foundation. The OIF has members of 63 nations, and more than 400 universities in its French-speaking regions and countries. The Secretary General of the organization expressed his appreciation and support to the Ameson projects of French language and culture promotion. In his letter,  Mr. Diouf writes that if needed, he could request the universities to support the French promotion project of Ameson Organization. 

Ameson Foundation has dedicated to the promotion of French language and promotion of culture from French-speaking regions in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province since the year 2000. This non-profit activity has reached more than 600 high school students in nearly 10 schools, located in five provinces and municipalities. It is estimated that around 3,000 students and more than 30 high schools will participate in the French promotion project in 2005.
