The College Board is a not-for-profit membership association that was founded in 1900 and is now composed of more than 5,400 schools, colleges, universities, and other educational organizations. Each year, the College Board serves seven million students and their parents, 23,000 high schools, and 3,500 colleges through major programs and services in college admissions, guidance, assessment, financial aid, enrollment, teaching, and learning.
Recently, the Senior Deputy Chairman of the College Board, Dr. Peter Negroni joined Ameson’s Deputy Chairman Professor Sean Zhang on a tour of the Shanghai Gezhi High School. The visiting duo were met by deputy Principal Mr. Zhou Shufa, who introduced the history, specialties and advantages of the school, and then showed the guests around the campus.
The visit was successful in helping the College Board forge deeper ties within the Chinese education system, and also with the Ameson Foundation. Concluded Professor Zhang: “I am confident that by collaborating with the College Board, we can further our aims of contributing towards the continued globalization of the Chinese education system.”
