L
ike many college graduates after graduation, Henry Han was eager to start his first job. Originally from Hangzhou and earning a degree in business administration from Suzhou University, he decided to choose a different route working for a non-profit in the area of cultural and education exchange. Three years later, he says he still loves his job.

Life at Ameson

Henry first joined Ameson in 2006 as a part of the ACEIS team working with the University of Cambridge on the ACEIS program and helping students seeking admission to the world-leading university. Now, a staff officer for the study abroad office, Henry researches for new universities to start co-operations with and helps students find Western universities to attend that would be good fits based on their interests and abilities.

Henry says he has learned a lot during his time at Ameson. Not only has his English improved, but also he says, “I have learned about the importance of communication and a good attitude from colleagues and bosses.” Even though he’s already spent a significant amount of time at Ameson, Henry says he still feels like he has a lot still left to learn.
“They knew how much we had done for them and it was a good feeling.”
And when your job is helping students achieve their goals of studying abroad, who wouldn’t enjoy their job? Henry says one of his most memorable moments while working for Ameson was when he was helping students with their admission to Cambridge. “That year when the students were accepted to Cambridge, they knew we stayed very busy working for them and were so appreciative of all of our hard work,” Henry says. “They knew how much we had done for them, and it was a good feeling.”
