andy Wang is one employee who has seen Ameson grow. A native to Nanjing and having attend Nanjing Normal University, she started with Ameson two years ago, but left for another opportunity. Luckily for Ameson, she returned in Fall 2009 to work on programs for the Ameson Foundation. She’s been able to use her experience away to benefit Ameson help improve pre-existing and future programs. “I was able to learn other things about communication and this experience is really useful to my present work,” she says.

As a project officer for the Ameson Foundation, Candy works on a variety of Ameson programs not only for officials but for students as well. More recently, Candy has played a crucial role in organizing the 2010 SAYA, or Sino-American Youth Ambassador, exchange program. Through helping develop the program and by recruiting students, she helped send 14 students and one teacher to the U.S. In February 2010 for the first-ever SAYA exchange.

In addition to SAYA, Candy has helped organize and plan visits for officials and prominent educators invited by Ameson. She’s also helped develop, promote and market other Ameson programs, like the teacher training overseas and the summer school program.

She says that she enjoys working with the students by helping them realize their dreams of going aboard. “I’m happy to be in a work environment where I have the chance to meet special and highly educated people.”
